- Miriyam Fried, née Kroyz, daughter of Mordekhai Kroyz of Jerusalem (a Hungarian scholar and rabbi, author of תכלת מרדכי, a commentary on Mishnah Tohorot); her organization in New York, Bnos Bonos Zion V'Jerusalem, likely a school for Yiddish speaking girls.

- Letter in Yiddish, written to the rabbinical board of the Kolel Shomre ha-ḥomot (Jerusalem) with news updates; "president" (Ḥayim?) writes to recommend an emissary (Yuda ben Avraham ha-kohen); Miriyam Fried signs below as a greeting (מרים פריעד בת ר' מרדכי קרויז זצ"ל") and continues (verso) that in the meeting of members on the board of Bnos Bonos Zion V'Jerusalem, sums were confirmed for the fund raising amounts previously projected. Written in two different hands ("president", likely Ḥayim Fried, in 18 lines on recto; Miriyam Fried letter in 11 lines on verso). Stamped "BNOS BONOS ZION V'JERUSALEM" twice on recto.
