Summary:
Elías Xolocotzin (Cuernavaca 1981) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work encompasses sound art, painting, sculpture, video, digital graphics, installation and photography. And generally, he talks about time paradoxes that exist between reality and fiction, which is why he usually uses the language of science fiction and mass media. Catalogue of the exhibition made up of sculptures and installations, is the result of research in the postgraduate course of Arts and Design at the UNAM that revolves around listening and other ways of listening to the sounds that are found around the place.
Notes:
"The collection "Cuadernos Híbridos" is a Project of the Academic Body Investigación Visual Contemporánea of the Faculty of Art of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos. The interest of these publications is to give visibility to the processes that underlie what we know as the final and finished work." (Our translation) --Verso Cover.
