Summary:
A graphic document of the creative process of sculptor Edna Pallares (Mexico City, 1965). "I consider processes to be routes, paths, journeys. These are deep looks that take time. They are a permanent continuum, and rests are the works that are generated. There are long routes, others short ones. Sometimes they are assertive, but sometimes they are ephemeral, they do not produce works per se, but they do ask questions. I never know the end of the journey, but I do know when it will happen. I recognize beginnings, principles, but how much and how the process will be, I don't know, but I'm not interested in knowing either." (HKB Translation --Page 9.
Notes:
"The collection "Cuadernos Híbridos" is a Project of the Academic Body Investigación Visual Contemporánea of the Faculty of Art of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos. The interest of these publications is to give visibility to the processes that underlie what we know as the final and finished work." (Our translation) --Verso Cover.
