A book of ethnographic photography or photo-ethnography, which documents the experiences in festivals of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru, in order to give a comprehensive look of a vast and varied territory, which, in turn, maintains dynamics and practices subject to a common agrofestive and cosmogonic calendar. At festivals nothing is ever missing, that would be a bad omen. In them, an explosion of emotions is generated nourished by the closeness and commitment of intra-community ties stimulated by the abundance of music, dance, alcohol, coca leaf and food, which generate interactions that produce deep dynamics of identity resignification and ethnic revitalization.
