- Letter from Asher Isaac Myers to Judge Mayer Sulzberger (addressed from 2 Finsbury Square, London, on the stationary of Jewish Chronicle); Myers writes to Sulzberger concerning assistance he was to provide for friends of Sulzberger's on a tour of Jerusalem, including two women, a "Miss Schloss" and "Mrs. Frank"; "making the trip as pleasent as possible to these two estimable ladies - [Israel] Zangwill especially promised he will tell you so direct [...] and as a minor detail the diplomacy of Europe is engaged in preventing an outbreak in Turkey so as not to mar the comfort and sensitivity of the Pilgrims". Letter written in 11 and 17 lines (both sides); autograph below text.
