Part of a collection of chapbooks, many with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture.

Book in the shape of a record on a turntable, with a stylus attached. The front cover is illustrated, with title and author on paper cut-outs and a 20-centavo coin mounted in the center; on the back, a cut out of the Vigía lantern is mounted on an illustrated canvas circle. Within, four leaves are illustrated with paper cut-outs; the text itself is on a banner with illustrated cut-outs and twine at the top, and housed in an illustrated paper cut-out pocket on the third leaf.
