- Summary:
- The increase in new services based on information and communications technologies (ICT) represents a panoply of opportunities in every single area of our lives. Aspects such as health, security, training, comfort, sustainability and leisure, are continuously being improved because of ICT.In this sense, Common Telecommunication Infrastructures (CTI) play a fundamental role as they structure and guarantee access to these services from the homes. Bearing in mind the Spanish regulations, this book aims to deepen the design of this kind of infrastructure by carrying out a technical project of a CTI in a building. Thus, the authors intend to complement the previous work entitled "Common Telecommunication Infrastructures", which focused on such regulation.Like the previous one, this book is mainly aimed at students of the compulsory course "Telecommunication Infrastructures" included in the Master in Telecommunication Engineering that is taught at the Linares School of Engineering, at the Universidad de Jaén.
