Summary:

West Midlands Fire Service arrives to find a single faulty battery has sparked a factory fire of deadly explosions. The scene is like a war zone as crews face the fire and risks from battery acid and toxic chemicals flying through the air. This year the WMFS are taking on 30 new recruits and putting them through training school to see if they have the right stuff to be firefighters of the future. Competition has been stiff with over 3000 applications for just 30 places on the course. Highgate Red Watch rush to rescue a woman trapped in her overturned car on a busy road.
