Summary:

"War Notes is a project of memories in the making, co-created with Ukrainian citizens during wartime. Over six weeks in the Spring of 2022 I traveled through Lviv, Odesa, Kyiv, and east to Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv, collecting a total of 53 portraits and interviews. Per participant, a single Fuji FP-100c polaroid was made. I then asked each participant to write their memories and emotions on a separate unexposed blank polaroid and conducted an in-depth interview. "--Artist's website (viewed November 30, 2022)

Notes:

Album of 53 color photo prints and 53 prints from holograph. Included in album is a photograph of the original portfolio and a card with notes on how the photographs were collected, both tucked into front flap, and 1 original Polaroid tucked into back flap. Accompanied by booklet with English translations and explanatory text.

Edition of 24 hand-numbered and embossed copies.
