- Summary:
- The book systematically deals with the critical reflection of the European Digital Competence Framework for Citizens, which also includes a working translation. The framework puts into the broader phenomenological thought tradition and then gradually goes through all 21 competencies in which it finds interesting places to think and critical reflection through transdisciplinary concepts. It is the first book that deals systematically with digital competence issues. In this respect, the text presented is an essential contribution to a broader social debate on the framework and digital competences as such. The book follows different perspectives - philosophical, pedagogical, sociological and informational. On the one hand, it seems to be sufficiently accessible to a broader range of readers, but at the same time does not want to abandon the professional interdisciplinary insight into the whole topic. It is clear from the text that becoming a digitally competent citizen is a task for every individual in society.
