Die im vai gezeigte Ausstellung gibt einen ersten Einblick in den laufenden Entwicklungsprozess der Wanderausstellung zum Thema "Architektur aus Vorarlberg", die im September 2014 erstmalig im Werkraum Bregenzerwald und danach weltweit in den Österreichischen Kulturforen gezeigt wird. Der Titel ist Ausdruck einer Haltung und Hinweis auf den Modus Operandi einer Praxis, die sich primär aus der Unmittelbarkeit des Tuns erschließen und verstehen lässt. Diesem Umstand Rechnung tragend, reflektiert die Präsentation im vai den Prozess des Machens dieser Ausstellung, vom Konzept über Beispiele einer breit angelegten Interviewreihe mit den ProtagonistInnen der baukulturellen Entwicklung Vorarlbergs bis hin zum Prototypen der Ausstellungsarchitektur, der die laufende Auseinandersetzung mit den vielschichtigen inhaltlichen und szenografischen Aspekten eines derartigen Formats veranschaulichen soll.Die erste Ausgabe beinhaltet u.a. das Leitkonzept, eine Isometrie der Ausstellungsarchitektur sowie eine Reihe von Interviews mit Renate Breuß, Christian Schützinger, Verena Konrad und Robert Fabach.

The exhibition at the vai is the first to offer insights into the development process of the traveling exhibition on architecture in Vorarlberg, which shall first be opened to the public in September 2014 at the Werkraum Bregenzerwald before visiting Austrian cultural venues all over the world. The name of the exhibition is a reflection of a stance and modus operandi that is directly derived from architectural practice. As a result, the exhibition at the vai showcases these practices, starting with the conception of projects and examples thereof. The exhibition also offers a broad series of interviews with major figures in the development of construction culture in Vorarlberg and includes exhibition architecture prototypes that put the many content levels and scenographic aspects of the format on display.The first edition contains the guiding principles, the isometrics of exhibition architecture as well as interviews with Renate Breuß, Christian Schützinger, Verena Konrad and Robert Fabach.
