- Summary:
- Since the 1960s, Cala Ratjada, on the island of Mallorca has undergone rapid change as a result of the exponential growth of the tourist industry. Still Strangers traces these changes through the personal story of Bel, now 83, who opened one of the first hostels in the village. Through her experiences, the film examines the past, present, and future of the relationship between the locals and the tourists in Mallorca. Although tourists have become very familiar, they still remain strangers to many Mallorcans.
