Summary:
Often geologic forces produce violent events, but at other times the results can be miracles of nature. Over millions of years, groundwater seeping through sedimentary rock formations has created some wondrous caverns and caves. One of the most beautiful examples is in New Mexico. This video presents the spectacular formations of Carlsbad Caverns and explains the process that created it.
