- This film explores evocations of memory in post-Socialist Bucharest, nearly twenty years after the fall of communism in Romania. One of the oldest public parks in the centre of the city, Cismigiu Gardens attracts people from all walks of life. It is a place both for social interaction and solitary reflection. Interweaving recollections of the past with glimpses of present-day scenes from the park, the film constructs a montage of stillness and motion, images and voices, landscape and people.
