Summary:
Celso Dominguez is a peaceful farmer who has been pressured by the community and the parish priest to join the Christian army. Upon doing so, Celso transforms into a ruthless murderer who kills without guilt. Over time, the Mexican church achieves peace with the federal government, which strongly influences the fate of this man.
