Summary:
Lazarus and Isabel's ranch thrives thanks to the work of Candelario. Isabel begins a love affair with Candelario, and eventually they have a child. Lazaro intends to punish them, but suffers an accident that affects his sense of reason. Lazaro soon dies in another accident, and Isabel and Candelario marry. Locals end up accepting the new couple as the estate has contributed to the town's society, which causes Candelario to take off with his son.
