Summary:
At the end stage of shoulder rehabilitation, plyometric exercises are often prescribed for athletes who are returning to high-demand activities. While various activities can be incorporated into the rehab program for the throwing athlete in this situation, a number of appropriate guidelines should be followed when initiating these ballistic activities. Plyometric Training for the Throwing Athlete presents an overview of several contemporary shoulder exercise programs and progressions, as well as detailing outcomes when available. The primary focus of the video is on shoulder rehab interventions for upper-extremity overhead and underhand throwing athletes.
