- Summary:
- "Ontorjatra" is an intimate exploration of the complex issues of dislocation and identity in a diasporic world. A divorced mother and her son return to Bangladesh after 15 years abroad - prompted by the boy's father's sudden death and funeral. The story follows the transforming experience of mother and son as they -- in very different ways -- try to come to terms with this loss and the conflicting emotions triggered by their return.
