Summary:
Balance Training for Figure Skaters presents a series of proven drills on the BOSU™ balance trainer. Both aerobic and anaerobic systems are challenged with dynamic functional balance training and plyometrics appropriate for skating jumps. Strength, power, static balance, and flexibility are also challenged in this 16-station circuit workout. Repeated performance of this well-rounded, off-ice conditioning program enhances skaters' cardiovascular fitness, power, core strength, proprioception, kinesthetic awareness, and on-ice performance.
