Summary:
Built in 1939 by Joe Ryan, an American millionaire from Philadelphia, the Mont Tremblant Resort Area is a scenic winter wonderland located north of Montreal in the scenic Laurentian Mountains of Quebec. Standing 2,130 feet high, Mont Tremblant is one of the highest skiable peaks in eastern North America and the largest in the Montreal, Quebec area. Here we visit the Ecole de Ski due Mont Tremblant, one of the best ski schools in Canada; then just a short distance from the great mountain, we explore Mont Tremblant Village. Modeled after the traditional Quebecois architecture, this village offers a variety of accommodations, restaurants, and shopping.
