- Summary:
- They are born and brought up in Europe. Their daily lives are influenced by European culture and they are European citizens. But they are also daughters of immigrants from south and east. Every day they have to fight to find the balance between two extremely different cultures.Thousands of these girls are sent back to the native land of their parents to be "re-educated" in the cultural norms and traditions of those countries. For many of the girls, generational conflicts then turn into regular culture wars within the family and the daughters may disappear for several years or forever.
