- Summary:
- Focuses on gang leaders incarcerated in California's Pelican Bay State Prison. Held in virtual solitary confinement, these men are still able to easily communicate with gang members outside prison, running extensive criminal enterprise networks. Includes interviews with current and former inmates, who describe several of the communication techniques used. The Mexican-American gang, Nuestra Familia, is highlighted, but the Aryan Brotherhood and the Mexican Mafia are also discussed. Lesley Stahl reports.
