Summary:

This program demonstrates how to use echo optimally for patients presenting with myocardial infarction. It reviews coronary artery anatomy; discusses the prognosis of myocardial infarction; looks at such potential complications as aneurysm, mitral regurgitation, and papillary muscle rupture; and distinguishes between a true aneurysm and a pseudoaneurysm.
