Summary:
150 million people across the globe suffer from it, and it's now a significant health issue in most developed countries. It's asthma, and why in the latter part of the 20th Century has it gone on the rampage? We can in part blame our genes, but genes alone cannot create asthma. There must be something else - something to do with our lifestyle and environment perhaps which makes it so difficult for some people to breathe freely.
