- Paradigm Documentaries is the filmmaking and photography division of the Tiapapata Art Centre, Inc., a non-profit organization based in Samoa promoting traditional and contemporary arts and crafts. Produced by independent filmmakers and photographer Galumalemana Steven Percival, these multimedia productions cover a range of topics including culture, religion, human rights, environment, development, education and history. This short film is an introduction to the multimedia productions produced by Paradigm. This lizard in Samoan mythology is believed to be the progenitor of man. The phrase from which this name is derived, pili pa'u, literally means "fallen lizard". The name was chosen to reflect the importance of Samoan culture and language in multimedia productions.
