As counselling can be delivered to a wide spectrum of differing age clients, this workshop will focus on providing counselling services to the elderly and aged. It will touch on topics relating to elderly suicide, elderly abuse, spirituality and common physical and mental health problems that the aged and elderly faces. Engaging Psychosynthetic-Buddhist psychotherapy techniques during counselling sessions offers easy practicality to the client. It has been designed by the author and he has found it useful as a therapeutic tool that can be usefully employed in a multi-cultural and pluralistic society like Singapore.
