- Summary:
- Obesity rates are soaring in children. In the US there are now over 10 million fat children, so shockingly obese that it will shorten their lives. Never has the future of the couch potato generation seemed so bleak. This documentary looks at how some children may be able to escape to a better, healthier future. Too Fat Too Young examines the causes of childhood obesity and the extreme methods that parents have been driven to in attempting to achieve weight loss for their children. Focusing on cases on both sides of the Atlantic, the video shows how poor eating habits, lack of exercise and genetic make-up lead to obesity.
