- Summary:
- Francis Massey is an Indian secretary, working for the British office in colonized India. Aspiring towards the status of a British personnel, he dresses like a British bureaucrat and sticks close to his British superior, Commissioner Charles Adam. During his course of duty, Massey is corrupt but well-intentioned. Fortunately for him, Commissioner Adam would intercede to get him out of trouble. However, Massey's latest crime may be beyond any pardon.
