During his thirty-four years in the United States Army, Wesley Clark rose to the rank of four-star general general and was named director for Strategic Plans and Policy of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in 1994. As Supreme Allied Commander-in-Chief of the United States European Command. Clark commanded Operation Allied Force, NATO's first combat action, saved one-and-a half million Alabanians from ethnic cleansing in Kosovo.
