- Summary:
- Pre-participation Screening for Injury Prevention examines the fact that a growing body of recent evidence strongly suggests that core stability plays a critical role in reducing susceptibility to acute and chronic injuries of the core and extremities for an athlete of any age or gender. The video details several performance tests that are both reliable and relatively easy to administer that can be used to identify individual athletes who are at an elevated risk of injury. The video also features a core-stabilization training program for athletes whose performance test values predict a high risk of being injured.
