Summary:
Drawing its inspiration from an unusual illustrated encyclopedia, peopled by strange animals and imaginary plants, Tricodex invites us into a bizarre world, where elastic dancers can embody the infinitely small as well as the vertiginous immensity of the cosmos. Choreographer Philippe Découflé made a name for himself with his "Clog Dance" for the "Bleu Blanc Goude" pageant directed by Jean-Paul Goude for the celebrations on 14 July 1989. He directed the opening and closing ceremonies at the Albertville Winter Olympics in 1992. This is his first collaboration with the Opéra de Lyon Ballet, for whom he produces the fourth version of a project he has been working on for the past twenty years.
