Summary:
Many architects are recycling prime sites in urban neighborhoods by either infilling a new home or tearing down an existing one. This program shows three examples of "recycled" homes: John Patkau's use of a narrow lot to build a home with a glass lap pool on the roof, Jaume Bach's Barcelona home designed around one wall of the lot's previous house, and Barry J. Hobin's design for a house in the space formerly occupied by a garage.
