After his education abroad, and becoming an assistant to Louis I. Kahn, he returned to the Bahamas where he developed his talents as a painter, architect, philosopher, mentor & Junkanoo. The film reveals Jackson's legacy through interviews with his family, friends, and his own voice, illustrated by archival footage, architectural renderings and his paintings. Jackson was an original, sublimely gifted as a visual artist & unique in his spirit & generosity as a man. 'We are challenged to make the kinds of things that live long after we are gone. And those things very seldom even live in the material. What they live in is the emotion that a person gets when they experience whatever expression it is that you pass on.'
