- Episode 214 - Hawkeye: Tennis, like many sports has relied on an umpire for split second judgements, but sometimes television replays would embarrassingly reveal an incorrect decision. That's why the Hawkeye system was developed. By tracking the ball with high speed cameras with different views of its trajectory and then having these vision streams analysed digitally, an accurate representation of the ball's path can be replayed in three dimensions.
