- Summary:
- Through November 2001, an epic human drama was played out in the mountains of Central Asia. As tens of thousands of Afghan refugees fled their homeland, groups of international aid-workers struggled to help them. This film tells the story of one of those groups. CONCERN is a Dublin and New York based humanitarian aid agency that operates in some of the world's most inhospitable and dangerous places. From Angola to Afghanistan and from North Korea to Somalia, CONCERN volunteers are unsentimental, practical people with an extraordinary job to do.
