Summary:
In Ghana, rubbish is being recycled and turned into useful everyday items. At 'Trashybags', one hundred thousand discarded plastic ice cream and water sachets are recycled every day. The operation now employs almost 300 people from an area of high unemployment, and helps make the streets of Accra cleaner, safer and more attractive.
