Summary:
Design thinking challenges the myth that innovation and the creative process can only result when people with a special gift lead the way. This 11:27 minute video introduces the concept of design thinking and provides an overview of the systematic process for solving complex problems. It is one of 22 videos that comprise the Design Thinking course developed at Darden. It is designed to accompany any one of three cases (Arena Industries (UVA-S-0240), Trenton State College (UVA-S-0241), and (Great Lakes (UVA-S-0248)) that explore the design thinking approach to innovative problem solving.
