- Summary:
- This program offers a three diverse views of dance by Dancer/Instructor/Filmmaker Cynthia Pepper, who has performed throughout the United States, including the White House Conference on Children and the Kennedy Center. The triology of dance includes: 1. Zync: Three Prodigy Dancers - This is a sensitive and often humorous journey of three 14-year-old dancers who have been dancing since they were five; the camera tells the story, capturing the teen-agers as they transform from youngsters into polished performers. 2. Parameta - Six teen-age dancers perform, from rehearsal to joyful resolution, an intricately choreographed dance based on a collection of harrowing life experience. 3. SandDance - This award-winning performance blends dance, underwater scenes and animation to make an environmental statement to promote the protection of our beaches and oceans.
