Summary:
THE BIG BLACKOUT They said it couldn't happen....but IT DID! The elaborate power grid supplying the Northeast and parts of Canada failed. And - the question asked by 25,000,000 people living in an 80,000 square mile area is, simply: How could it happen?? No one had an immediate answer. Dozens of cities blacked out and, like New York, people adapted quickly to the situation and took things in their stride. PRINCESS SEES HOW MOVIES ARE MADE: Princess Margaret and the Earl of Snowden are welcomed to Universal City by Jules Stein, Board Chairman of MCA. The Royal pair greets a full house of Hollywood stars and then tours the studio to see movies in production and watch stunt men in their daring-do. SPORTS FOOTBALL AIR FORCE GUNS DOWN ARMY: The Air Force Falcons score their first victory over another Service Academy and they take the measure of Army in Chicago. Paul Stein shines as he completes 9 of 18 passes and the Falcons, appropriately enough, stage an aerial attack. Final score: Air Force.........14 Army.........3
