America's debt is over <dollar>4 trillion and the country continues to borrow billions of dollars each year. Industrialist Harry Figgie, Jr. and economist Gerald Swanson have concluded in their bestselling book, Bankruptcy 1995, that this country cannot afford to borrow any more money, that simply paying the interest charges on the debt will lead to economic collapse as early as 1995.
