Canada is a nation blessed with natural beauty and filled with national parks which span six time zones. This colossal program takes viewers to 21 of this country's magnificent natural wonders, including: L'Anse aux Meadows, where icebergs persist all summer; Gros Morne, a land of fjords; Cape Breton Highlands, where people come to view moose; Kejimkugik, whose lake is the heart of the park; Prince Edward Island Park, home to the House of Green Gables; Kouchibouguac, which borders the Gulf of St. Lawrence; Fundy, renowned for some of the highest tides in the world; La Mauricie, with outcroppings of ancient rock that are over 600 million years old; Point Pelee, the southernmost tip of mainland Canada; Ellesmere Island, the northernmost point of Canada; Grasslands, where black-tailed prairie dogs can still be found; Riding Mountain, in Manitoba, where once exterminated beaver now dwell; Waterton Lakes, home to the famous Prince of Wales Hotel; Banff, Jasper, Yoho, Kootenay, four parks that dominate Canada's Rocky Mountains; Wood Buffalo, the country's largest National Park; Nahanni, reached only by river and home to Virginia Falls, twice the height of Niagara; Pacific Rim, where Canada meets the Pacific Ocean; and Kluane, home to Mt. Logan, Canada's highest mountain.
