UNITED STATES PEACE EFFORTS: The United Nations Security Council meets at the behest of the United States and hears Ambassador Arthur Goldberg's request that the International body debate a U.S. resolution on VIETNAM. This is the latest move in Washington's search for peace and, over the opposition of Russia and France, the VIETNAM debate is put on the agenda. GOLDEN GLOBES: The whole town turns out for the Golden Globes - movie awards from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. On hand is Claudia Cardinale who is starred in Universal's "BLINDFOLD"; Paul Newman who is in Alfred Hitchcock's latest, "TORN CURTAIN", and Julie Andrews who is to star with Carol Channing in Ross Hunter's "THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE". "MOMENT TO MOMENT" Florida's biggest motion picture premiere in the State's history honors the producer and stars of "MOMENT TO MOMENT" as it opens at five theatres simultaneously. Producer Mervyn LeRoy escorts Honor Blackman - the "Goldfinger" girl to the premiere. Also present is Sean Garrison who makes his debut in the movie. However, star Jean Seberg was ill in Paris and could not attend. SPORTS POW! BOFF! BAM!! New York's festival of fisticuffs, the annual Golden Gloves, hit a rapid-fire tempo right from the start as the sub-novices mix it up in three-round bouts. The New York Daily News Welfare Association sponsors the bouts for charity and, as usual, the Golden Gloves prove to be SOLID twenty-two carat...
