- Summary:
- This is the story of history's first major terrorist attack - an attempt to blow up the symbolic heart of one of the world's major capital cities. London 1605: against a backdrop of religious strife a group of young disaffected Catholics decided to rid themselves of the monarchy and Parliament. With three and a half tons of explosives, they came within minutes of the total destruction of England's Houses of Parliament. State-of-the-art CGI shows the extent of the damage if the explosion had taken place and dramatic reconstruction reveals the men behind the plot.
