- This video series on anxiety is produced by the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC) and presented by Dr Clive Jones Dipt, DipCouns, BEd, MEd, GradDipPsych, PhD(psych). The series is divided into 3 sections. Section 1 provides an overview of anxiety - including the biological/genetic and intrapersonal influences on anxious thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Section 2 explores the 8 stages of Erikson's Stages of Psychosocial Development, as well as attachment theory and Adler. Section 3 showcases counselling methods depending on the client and situations experienced. Four role plays and detailed explanations are included: Biological Responses; Cognitive Responses; Existential Concerns and; Intrapersonal Concerns.
