- Jennifer Beckham is a young surfer with attitude! While learning to surf Jennifer came up with the Super Surfer, a surfboard with small jets to help young surfers catch a wave more easily. Tired of paddling for ages over giant waves, 14 year-old Jennifer thought a jet-propelled surfboard would be the perfect way to make surfing easier and even more fun! Steve Lowery builds a custom jet engine powered by a car starter motor and two 12 volt batteries all crammed into a custom made long board built by Jennifer and Glenn at Primal Surf.
