Summary:
Resource Review is the place to see teaching resources given a rigorous road test. Whether you're looking for the latest product on the market or for a classic that has passed you by, we can help. Each week, teachers try the resources in the classroom and our studio panel discusses their strngths and weaknesses. In this programme, freelance educational writer Colin Hynson recommends: - History in Motion CD-Rom from Film Education - Digging Deeper Series textbook, from Heinemann Educational - The Home Front CD, from the Imperial War Museum. We see History in Motion being used at Queens Park School, London, while Digging Deeper is trialled at Acland Burghley School in London. In the studio, presenter Hermione Cockburn is joined by Colin and panellists Ben Walsh, Secondary History teacher and author, and Heather Scott, Chair of the Secondary Committee of The Historical Association.
