- GIANT DAM PROJECT: A gigantic triple-sided project along the U.S.-Canadian border is building three dams for control of the powerful Columbia River and the harnessing of its power. The project will prevent the destructive floods of the past in this area. TEEN DANCERS SHOW STYLE: In West Berlin, youngsters from 8 to 14 compete in the first International Dance contest for children. The quick-step and cha cha are featured and the kids show some very fancy steps. Two London youngsters are declared winners. SPORTS PRISON RODEO THRILLER: At Texas State Prison in Huntsville, convicts ride broncos and bulls in the 35th Annual Prison Rodeo. The proceeds help to build up educational and recreation funds. Each inmate-cowboy takes pride in his ride....win, lose, or fall!
