The First Lady also stops at an old Mission school in Carmel to greet children there. MOSCOW CIRCUS PREMIERE: A circus premiere in Cologne, West Germany, by the world-famous Moscow State Circus. Lions, Tigers, Daredevils, Trapeze artists, and clowns dazzle a crowd of over five thousand. It's the third guest appearance for the circus in West Germany. SPORTS Football SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA10 TEXAS 6 Southern California tops Texas before 42 thousand fans in Austin. Final score: Southern Cal 10, Texas 6. U.S.C.'s quarterback Troy Winslow scores after a field goal. For Texas, Bill Bradley tallies the only six points the Longhorns are able to notch. MICHIGAN STATE28 NORTH CAROLINA STATE10 The nation's top-ranked football powerhouse, Michigan State, puts on a dazzling ground game display and tops North Carolina State 28 to 10. Michigan's Jimmy Raye, Clint Jones, and Bob Apisa spearheaded the Spartans' attack, with all three scoring.
