- Summary:
- LYNDON B. JOHNSON AT PRINCETON: PRESIDENT URGES SCHOLARS SUPPORT FOREIGN POLICY: At Princeton University for the dedication of the Wilson School of Public and International Affairs Johnson appeals to the nation's intellectuals for support of his Vietnamese policy, and makes a firm reply to critics of that policy. SHOOTING THE RAPIDS: Contestants from six countries flock to the wild rapids of the Ruhr River in Germany to test their paddling skill in small kayaks. They run a course of 25 poles in a ski-like slalom race with plenty of spills and thrills. CASSIUS CLAY: Heavyweight Champion Cassius Clay arrives in London for his late May title defense against Britisher Henry Cooper, the only professional fighter who's ever put Clay on canvas. Cooper's confident he can do it again. For a change, Cassius has no comment. AUTO CRASHES: A French daredevil, Gil Delamar, drives autos into other autos at speeds of up to fifty miles an hour; rolls them over; smashes them into burning hulks of twisted metal....and comes up every time. It's a special demonstration outside Munich how to survive a serious accident.
