- Summary:
- Staffroom Monologues is a series of 5 short plays, 3 for television, and 2 audio dramas, based on the winning scripts of the Teachers TV 2008 competition which was open to all those who work in education. Measure of Love stars Julie Graham and is introduced by award winning screenwriter and Staffroom Monologues judge Ashley Pharoah. In this thoughtful and witty piece Julie Graham plays an English teacher trying to do the right thing for a pupil with a crush. Should she take matters into her own hands or report the situation to the union rep? The drama is followed by an interview with the writer, Jo Heathcote, an English teacher from Manchester, who talks about why she chose this delicate subject.
